Bards Corner 030

by May 29, 2020

Another week of travels, both in the meat world and the world of ones and zeros. Physical and mental adventuring takes you places and gives you experiences that will be remembered for a lifetime. How often do we not take the time to enjoy these adventures? Hurry through them to get them done, to check a box. A vacation that was blur, walk in the part that you spent more time looking at your phone, wishing you had a signal. Watching senseless programs on electronics that numb the mind instead of enhancing it.
Slow down a bit and enjoy what you are doing, pay attention to your surroundings. You may see that deer in the woods watching you. Take pleasure from crafting and making something new from old. Educate the mind with pixels to improve your path in reality.

BOOK OF THE WEEK

I Have the Watch: Becoming a Leader Worth Following by Jon S. Rennie
My book list is growing, this is next on my list to read. One way to learn how to be a better leader is from those that have walked the path before you. On a sub there is no time off, you are always on duty as a leader 24/7.
